Concerts are good for Bangladesh
By celebrating concerts we celebrate diversity through music, and we share a sense of togetherness. In many concerts artists of all genres come together and play their music. These artists are able to showcase their culture and traditions through their music. This brings a sense of unity among the people. Recently there was a concert held called “Coke Studio concert” where artists of all genres came together and performed songs of their own culture and fusion music as well. Fusion music consists of songs that may be considered of two or more genres, mixed together. This Coke studio concert was an initiative by Coke Bangladesh, This was their first endeavor in Bangladesh, They have had shows and concerts in other countries as well but it was their first concert in Bangladesh.
Concerts also help boost the economy of the country, revenue from the concert’s tickets, merchandise sales, and local businesses' profit help encourage investments. The contribution of concerts to the country is incomparable because not only do they help boost the economy, but they also help create a platform for emerging artists and motivate them. It encourages people to pursue their passion. Many artists back in the day failed to make their ends meet which caused them to quit music. So by ensuring a sense of financial security for the artists, we’re not only able to maintain the current artists we’re also able to inspire more artists.
Concerts help build a sense of community as well, due to concerts many music enthusiasts are able to connect and build their own community. Concerts can help convey messages to the masses and help create awareness as well. Due to these concerts, many foreign artists are also able to perform here and inspire the local musicians. This helps build a relationship with the foreign music community as well.
