The Beauty of Painting
THE BEAUTY OF PAINTING:
Painting and sketching have been around since the birth of humanity. Humans used to scribble their mind out in order to express their feelings and thoughts before the invention of language. Even in this era, we use art and paintings to express ourselves in the most creative way possible.
In my case, I just simply love painting. What could be more beautiful than expressing your feelings in the form of beautiful bright colors? Although it doesn't really need to be in bright colors all the time, it can be dark and grey too. That in my opinion, that is the most beautiful part of painting. An artist gets to hold their inner self in the form of their art. An artist becomes free through their art because an art can contain anything and everything an artist can think of.
Painting can be a great way to store our memories in colors. Even though, nowadays, we can store our memories in photos and polaroids, there's a much bigger beauty in storing those memories by yourself in your own sketchbook by using your favorite colors. The feeling of fulfillment that we get after creating something from our own memory is immeasurable.
Painting can be a form of journalling too. Many people love to paint or hardly sketch their daily activities to express their day.
I cannot call myself an artist though, because the arts I create can hardly be called a well put together piece of creation. They don't carry the right gesture techniques, nor do they have the right anatomy. The usage of colors is all messed up as well and that is another thing i love about painting. They don't have to be perfect!! As long as you are having fun playing with all those colors and you are enjoying the process of projecting your metaphorical world into reality, all the other things do not matter at all. That is, unless you want to have painting/drawing as your profession of course.
Lastly, paintings can contain various bright colors if the subject is something dear to the artist the same way, the paintings can be rough and dark if it's about a bad experience. Paintings are a medium to project the artists true emotions. Painting can be a medium to express joy and sometimes, it can also be the medium to release pain. A painting is precious because it carries beautiful stories, it carries the untold emotions of its creator, it carries hours of dedication in the form of pretty colors and captures that specific time frame for all eternity.
