Traveling: A temporary escape from the chaotic routine

During my A levels, I had a hectic schedule of studying. Whenever I wanted to escape from that hectic routine I would distract myself by reading fictional books, painting, and playing sports. And for a more memorable and life long experience I would( my parents) indulge and splurge on a holiday getaway. 

Traveling is my way of transcending to a different world in the lights of self discovery,exploration and re-connecting with the wonders of nature.

One of them was a recent (not so recent) holiday getaway in Thailand. Which was hands down one of the most fulfilling experiences that I would cherish for life.

The moment I paved my way through the clouds into a different country, it was a wholesome   

experience that captivated me into the wonders and beauty of the world.

The food experiences:

Food is one the most important aspects when it comes to making a memory worth remembering. Exploration of different kinds of food helps to create a bond and connection with the people. It was my utmost desire to savor famous renowned food chains as well as savor the local culinary delights. Brands like Starbucks, Mcdonalds 

can be seen everywhere and is a wish of every Asian as they are so exclusive. 

 

Food was a way of exploring their culture and what they had to offer ,their incredible species, exotic fruits, local street food was unmatched and something worth experiencing. With each sip or taste it would transcend and connect to the rich flavors .

Seeing the colorful exotic fruits , and a vibrant street market filled with cheap and fresh local food tells alot about the rich culinary heritage.

The landscapes and view:

Imagine waking up to views like this, where the landscape and tall buildings give a goosebumping  experience that fully encapsulates you into the creations of mankind,something you not so commonly get to view in our country.

Walking into the streets of human creations and innovation that captured my attention 

Acknowledging the wonders of each building and skyscrapers that tells about the incredible architectural work and development. Exploring each place was like exploring each different world that had many stories to tell.

Each building seemed like it had a story to tell, as a brief glimpse of their lives through the glass tall skyscrapers. They were vessels of stories and the architectural work is something I can't stress enough

The people and their hospitality:

More than the physical experience it was the interactions with the people of that country that made the journey memorable. Their hospitality and welcoming greatly warms the heart and makes it a more enjoyable experience. 

The language and the communication gap did not seem so challenging as each of the places was very tourist friendly. What was heartwarming for me to see was the diverse religious places, like mosques, temples were a common sight enriching my profound learning experience and connecting on a spiritual level.

Moreover I also got to take part in the celebrations in local festivals,exploring their rich diverse history as they celebrate their unity and culture with food,fireworks and musics

In conclusion , I am truly grateful for the blessings as I had the opportunity to experience and to create memories that forged my journey like precious jewels.Moreover, traveling with family made the experience even more wholesome and joyful that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. If I had the opportunity to experience it again, I would, in a heartbeat.
